Ms. Rivas has over 13 years experience as a licensed clinical social worker, with a dual-language and multicultural background. She's worked with a variety of populations which includes LGBTQ+ people, substance abusers, and survivors of violence from intimate partners. Ms. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Dr. Rivas works with women pre- and postpartum as part of the Perinatal Behavioral team. She is a specialist in trauma informed care, as well as EMDR services for adults. She offers group and individual therapy as well as a medication assisted treatment program. Special care referrals can also be made. Amanda serves as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer and assists in the search for permanent homes for animals that are homeless.
